Blurb: Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.
Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.
**Review**:  The concept of the book was phenomenal! There were so many things that I've never read in a story before and that made it a huge page-turner for me. Now for the cons. This book gets off to a very slow start, there's tons of back-story dumped in awkward places throughout and back to back chapters full of nothing but dialogue.  Despite that, I absolutely loved it!  This writer has definite potential, and I'm excited to see what the next few books hold.
